How to deal with Stress

All of us feel stress from time to time, some more than others. Unfortunately for the most part, we just accept it, but for the sake of our minds and bodies we should stop accepting stress as a part of our lives.

Did you know that over a long period of time, stress can cause knock on stress to your body which can contribute to health problems, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Regaining some calm in our lives won’t happen overnight and some stress can be good if turned into motivation.

Here I will give you a couple of simple steps to guide you to a less stressful life.

● Start your day with breathing, a few deep breaths can help to clear and focus the mind. Whilst taking your deep breaths, listen to your body, feel the air fill your lungs.

● Shower, a shower in the morning doesn’t have to be a rush or a chore. Treat yourself to an invigorating body wash. This will help to stimulate your senses whilst awakening you for the day ahead. I recommend using either Energising Shower Gel or Invigorating Body Reviver by ESPA.

● List, if you do have a lot to do or remember and you’re panicking about forgetting something then write it down. This way you will be able to see things more clearly whilst unburdening your mind.

Just remember, no matter how hectic life can get. Nothing is more important than your health and well-being. Take some time for you.
